does this have a taste of avocado, or can you not detect it?
It has a slightly different taste than a traditional crust, but I don’t think it has an overtly avocado flavor.
Hello! I want to try this crust but I have a quick question. The pie I want to use this for is a no bake vegan pumpkin pie. Do you think I could bake the pie on its own for awhile and then add my filling when its done? Thanks so much 🙂
Yes! I have done this before. Just poke some holes in the bottom or use some dried beans to keep it from bubbling up.
I want to love this recipe made with banana but it is extremely hard to cut. I ended up picking up my slice of pie and biting it; not a good scene for a company dessert. I baked an empty crust twice in case I had done something wrong the first time but same result.
