Split Pea and Barley Soup

Ingredients
- 2 quarts vegetable broth or water
- 1/2 cup dried split peas
- 1/2 cup barley
- 1 onion diced
- 2 carrots diced
- 3 stalks celery diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon dried dill or 1/4 cup fresh
- black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a pressure cooker and set to Soup or simmer in a large Dutch Oven on the stove until peas are soft.
Notes
Goes well with my cheesy biscuits!
